Vasthiyampillai Sivalogathasan is working as a Senior Lecturer in Management Studies, The Open University Sri Lanka. Sivalogathasan has a B.Com (Hons) Degree from the University of Peradeniya with second class upper division and during the university he won most meritorial prize throughout the years and also at convocation in 1997. He have been awarded postgraduate scholarship for Master of Business Administration by the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand in 2001. Presently, He has been awarded full Chinese Government Scholarship for four years Ph.D in Innovation Management By Zhejiang University in China. He has worked as Assistant Lecturer at the University of Peradeniya, as a Assistant Registar at the Vavuniya Campus of the University of Jaffna, as a Human Resource Manager for the INGOs such as Oxfam and Action Against Hunger. He has more than 12 years experience on both government and non-government sectors in multidiscipline aspects. He has been edited and published three books, many research papers which were published at International and national research publications and many more articles in newspapers and magazines.
