Sallyann Rohleder is an Essex-born writer who has lived in London's East end for most of her life since the early 1990s. In the mix of having a varied career, she has raised two children and acquired a First Class degree in Creative and Professional writing from the University of East London in 2012. Since then she has self-published her novels in the 'Tempting Faye/A Bite of the Apple' family saga series, which she began working on in 2001. These stories explore complex, interrelated relationships surrounding the female protagonist who before reuniting with her first love had very little family, yet from thereon discovers blood-ties with the most unexpected of people. Sallyann has also produced an anthology of her poems titled 'Personal Panic VS The Brighter Side' and has other writing projects on the go, such as a novella 'Blue Beat' set in 1965. Her other passion is singing and she has been involved and performed with various London-based soul and gospel choirs on semi-professional basis since 2011.
