She previously studied at Southwest Museum of Art, Midland, Tx., and workshops in Jackson, Mississippi. She creates her art using antique architectural items such as; ceiling tins and wood canvas. She uses many antiquing processes to create a unique painting that has age and character. Dana's love of painting started as a child when she would paint with her grandmother. She has been painting seriously for the last 15 years. Dana's family includes her husband and sons.
