My inspiration for this book comes from the character Job and the repeated requests for my sermon of the same title to become a book. However, Watchman Nee's book, "The Normal Christian Life" which I read early in my formative years as a Believer also inspired me. However, the normal Christian life looks abnormal to traditional religious mindsets. Consequently, the in-depth insight into the original languages of God-inspired Scripture in this book elicits a "hah" interjection from traditional Christians. So I don't think that they are ready for the depth of God's Word in this book (John 16:13-14) because they may see the stories in Scripture as unrealistic and fail to see the humanity of the significant characters. So, read it with a grain of salt . . . .
This book describes the road to healing and recovery. Maybe you or someone you know is just troubled and stressed out. On second thought, this book is for you or anyone who has hit rock bottom.
