Pip and the Forgetting: An Ancient Mystical Creature Teaches Love and Kindness (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798295806506)

When the last old library in town is scheduled for demolition, something ancient stirs inside its walls.

Pip is a tiny, glowing creature who has slept for decades because the world stopped wondering. Pip exists for one purpose: to ask the simple, powerful questions that help people remember what they've forgotten - how to notice, how to care, and how to feel alive again.

Ten-year-old Elle has learned not to ask for too much. She keeps her hopes small and her heart protected. But when Pip suddenly appears on her shoulder, the two of them set off on a gentle, magical journey through the city.

Together they meet a barista who no longer tastes his coffee, a busy mother who never looks out her window, a teenager who hid away his guitar, an old painter who locked up his brushes, and a grieving father who can't see the hearts his young daughter draws in chalk. With every kind and curious question Pip asks, hearts begin to open once more.

Warm, wise, and full of quiet magic, Pip and the Forgetting is a tender story about rediscovering wonder, the courage to ask "why," and how small acts of kindness can heal even the heaviest hearts.

Perfect for readers ages 8 to 14 and anyone who has ever felt the world moving too fast.
