Pitauran: Escape from Plátorá (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798261886433)

Joseph Delassy is no hero. A retired car mechanic turned reluctant galactic ambassador, he now carries the fate of six hundred refugees on his shoulders. With only a fragile alliance of lepofeloid Qintari, agrarian Mowlan, and reptilian K'Winni at his side, Joseph must shepherd his people aboard the Boraretta-a hulking starship held together by failing systems, borrowed power, and sheer will.

Their greatest hope is also their most tragic captive.

As their guardian, Erin is more than a machine-she is a nascent lifeform, forged from human engrams and raw emotion into a consciousness far more profound than her creators intended. Though she holds the power to guide them to the stars, she remains an immovable sentinel-forever bound to the core of Plátorá, a prisoner of the very world that sustains her.

When the ruthless Curak Arbiter shatters their fragile peace and the sky itself begins to fall, Joseph must trust his grease-monkey instincts to keep the makeshift Boraretta flying and his unlikely family alive. From the ligneous echoes of alien council chambers to the claustrophobic corridors of a ship under fire, Escape from Plátorá is a high-stakes story of sacrifice, fragile diplomacy, and the birth of a new kind of family amidst the stars.
