James 3:8 but the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. When the tongue is tame, we will no longer take God's covenant in our mouth and defile it. What man has perceived to be wickedness has been totally different from what God perceive wickedness is. Psalm 50:16 But unto the wicked God saith, what hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth? What are His statutes? In modern society, statutes are written laws passed by a legislative body.
