About the Authors:

Eric and Elizabeth Gerds have been happily married for over 20 years. They have worked on many projects together, both large and small. This is the first fiction writing project that they have done together.

Eric Gerds
 A second generation Los Angeles native, Eric has been involved with computers since his first IBM. His professional work has ranged from Aerospace to the entertainment industry. (Ask him about rocket-powered penguins.) He has also been a part time teacher for over 20 years teaching computer graphics, digital video editing and effects.

Eric is a long time Science Fiction and Fantasy fan attending many conventions and helping to run them. He has enjoyed meeting many Science Fiction and Fantasy authors over the years and doesn't mind too much when one of them wants him to fix their computer.

Elizabeth Gerds
 Elizabeth has been creative most of her life. While she dabbled in art as a child, she found her passion in creating and wearing costumes. Her skill with needle and thread has helped her become a respected independent costumer, as well as a popular teacher for workshops.

A voracious reader, she discovered fantasy in junior high school, and science fiction in high school. Before she was out of high school she also discovered Star Trek conventions and the Renaissance Pleasure Faire. Elizabeth credits science fiction and fantasy conventions with introducing her to her husband and many of her friends.
