Schledia Phillips loves living on the Gulf Coast. The mother of five is the author of YA companion novels Pretty Boy and Plain Jane and the NA romance novel Wildflowers. She dedicated eight years of her life to working with teenagers as a youth minister and has been invited to speak to high school students and women. Her goal as an author is to write stories that touch the hearts of readers and to tackle issues such as bullying, abuse, depression, domestic violence, and suicide. In addition to writing novels, she has taught creative writing at a small private school and has written skits and human videos for a drama team. She attended MGCCC. She was the Keynote Speaker for The Key Club International's Division 14's Divisional Rally. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and visiting over a cup of coffee. Her book Wildflowers is presently being made into a movie by Sure Vision Productions.
