The Play Golf on the Trigger of Africa Project (PGTA) AKA 'Jungle Golf' is a golf variation designed to attract more people to the sport. It features a golf circuit comprising of 18 holes over six courses with each course featuring three selected holes for the game. This golf variation is designed to solve the time consuming and low mass appeal problem the ancient game of golf - as revealed in Golf's 2020 vision: the HSBC report - faces in future.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Anthony Olabode Ayodele ventured into golf when he worked on The Guardian (Nigeria) Golf Weekly (GGW) pages. He initially worked on the GGW alongside the title's then Assistant Sports Editor, the late Pat Opara during the late 90's. He was later to assume the role of fully sourcing stories, editing and planning the two page weekly, winning numerous laurels in the process. He had earlier played a role in introducing the first double page golf column in Nigeria in This Day Newspapers. Till date he is the only Nigerian journalist to have interviewed world's former number one golfer, Tiger Woods. Bode Ayodele is also the founder/ Executive Director of Nigeria Golf Development International (NGDI) which is an arm of Nigeria Golf Development Foundation (NGDI); among other ventures. He is also the Publisher/Editor, The Nigerian Golfer Magazine. Here he is assisted by former Assistant Manager, IBB Golf and Country Club Abuja, Nigeria, Rotimi Daniel in producing this project. Daniel also serves as NGDI's Technical Director.
