Samuel Hinton is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky USA. He was founder of the Leonenet Street Children Project, a charity that supported displaced child victims of war and their families in Sierra Leone. He has authored scholarly books, and several articles in academic Journals. He was editor of the Kentucky Journal of Excellence in College Teaching and Learning.Dr. Hinton was a Fulbright - Hays scholar in Brazil, Czech and Slovak Republics, and China respectively. He is a senior Fulbright Scholar.
