Just as guilt was beginning to emerge within her mind a series of events begin to unfold that drove that wedge even tighter. Andy was the police chief of a nearby town and had barely settled in with his young and beautiful wife. This union produced a beautiful daughter and their lives were tragically cut short by a drunk driver running them down as they walked. Andy's grief manifested itself in many ways and he was just beginning to heal as he drove to a favorite beach one day. That road just happened to run right next to Michelle's home and she just happened to be headed out to clear her head when she pulled out in front of Andy without looking. In spite of the accident, the injuries, the nightmare of the situation and subsequent events the magic that sparked between Michelle and Andy was the beginning of something far more beautiful than their past. As the story unfolds then the wedding at the cabin, as noted in the book "Golden Grass," was touching, beautiful and spiritual. The result was a beautiful young lady named "Tanya" who came to know her parents as few children do.
