Ultimately, you'll discover that the true struggle for the Christian is not against sin but is more in the struggle to advance in godly obedience. Most novels are entertaining in that they carry you along by the emotions and imagination. Although they are certainly enjoyable to read, it is a bit discouraging that, when you are done with them, you are left with the feeling of having catered to yourself rather than having grown in any way.
