Edgar Vera is a prolific Bible teacher. He's been teaching on Bible topics for more than 21 years in different settings. He served as a Sunday school teacher for teens and young adults. He also worked as a youth pastor at the Ebenezer Christian Church of Bayshore, New York. He studied art and environmental design at the Parsons School of Design and New School for Social Research in New York City. He also completed his studies in architectural technology at the New York Institute of Technology. After having completed his non-religious studies, he completed his studies in theology with Facultad Latinoamericana de Estudios Teologicos (universidad FLET), in Miami, Florida. Edgar Vera is a licensed Minister with the Assemblies of God and is cofounder of the Open Arms, Higher Life Church, in Medford, New York. He also has a radio program called, "Inspiration for your life" which is also available in podcast format in iTunes. Edgar Vera has a passion for teaching the Bible and longs to share its good news with as many people as possible. He is rapidly becoming an emerging author with several book projects in development and others in publication. His desire is that his written work will anchor Christians more deeply in an unshakable faith in Jesus Christ and that unbelievers would be challenged to consider what he believes to be the central message of the Bible - salvation in Jesus Christ. Edgar is married to his wife Elizabeth of 25 years and has two amazing daughters, Alyssa, and Veronica.
