Poul Martin M ller (1794-1838) was a well-known figure in Golden Age Denmark, and his versatile intelligence was acknowledged by his contemporaries. M ller was a philologist, novelist, poet, theologian and philosopher, and his work included poems, translations, philosophical essays, aphorisms, reviews, and the fragment of a novel. His sudden death in 1838 interrupted what could have been a brilliant intellectual career. Finn Gredal Jensen is Senior Editor at the Society for Danish Language and Literature, Copenhagen. He has edited several critical editions of Danish literature, including Søren Kierkegaard and Hans Christian Andersen.

Jon Stewart is a Researcher at the Institute of Philosophy of the Slovak Academy of Sciences. He has worked for many years in the field of nineteenth-century Continental philosophy. He now serves as the editor of the journal Filozofia.
