Preacher Joe (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781500987336)

In 2005, the Reverend Joseph Carter was executed by the state of Mississippi by lethal injection for the crime of murder. Nine years later, Michael Walker wrote a best-selling novel about the man's life, called: Preacher Joe. Preacher Joe was born into the belly of the beast of cruel poverty, racial hatred and profound ignorance. From the moment of his birth, he was on the fast track to an early grave; yet, on the day of his death, he was beloved by millions. Preacher Joe tells the story of his painful journey into salvation and the lives he touched along the way. Once you read his extraordinary story, he will touch your life, as well.
