Predestination Of The Saints (Hardcover) (ISBN-13: 9781161560862)

""Predestination of the Saints"" is a theological treatise written by Saint Augustine, a prominent Christian theologian and philosopher of the 4th and 5th centuries. In this book, Augustine explores the concept of predestination, which is the belief that God has already determined who will be saved and who will be damned before they are even born. Augustine argues that predestination is a biblical doctrine and that it is necessary for understanding the nature of God's grace and the role of human free will in salvation. He also addresses objections to predestination, such as the question of why God would choose some people and not others, and discusses the relationship between predestination and the doctrine of election. Overall, ""Predestination of the Saints"" is a foundational work in Christian theology that continues to be studied and debated by scholars and believers to this day.THIS 34 PAGE ARTICLE WAS EXTRACTED FROM THE BOOK: St. Augustin Anti-Pelagian Writings: Nicene and Post-Nicene Fathers of the Christian Church V5, by Saint Augustin .
