Rev. Dr. Scott T. Arnold has been serving Christ in pastoral ministry since 1983. He is a cancer surviver who experienced the healing touch of Christ in a time of prayer and personal encounter with the Lord. He had been diagnosed with fourth stage Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, but has experienced God's healing and has now been in remission for over 10 years. He wrote a book about his own experience and that of his son Thom who also battled cancer in the book: "Soul Fruit: Bearing Blessings Through Cancer". Scott and his wife Marilyn work together as a pastor and registered nurse to serve Christ and His Kingdom. They have three adult sons. Scott serves as an American Baptist pastor, has served as a hospital chaplain, and has taught courses in lay ministry certification in Theology and Biblical Studies and Urban Ministry. He is currently pastor of Union Church of Quincy, Michigan. Scott is a graduate of Michigan State University with a B.S. in Urban Planning, is a graduate of Northern Baptist Theological Seminary with a MDIV in Urban Ministry, and is a graduate of Luther Rice University with a DMIN in Ministry, Discipleship Ministry Project. Scott also co-wrote a book with Brad Parrish entitled: "SHINE: A Celebration of Spiritual Gifts" Scott also is the author of "Come Follow Jesus" a discipleship guide and small group Bible Study.
