Energy demands are rising as world leaders vector economies toward increased competition in global markets. GNEP implementation will increase the worldwide nuclear infrastructure as private industries invest in new power reactors, uranium enrichment and fuel reprocessing facilities, waste repositories and increased international nuclear materials shipments.
