Paul Martin has a long history of involvement with the criminal justice system. His first contact was with the juvenile system in Virginia. Then, after a stint in the Marine Corps, he served a couple of years in prison in the state of Florida. He spent several years on parole and probation prior to his incarceration in 1991. He was incarcerated in Virginia from 1991 to 2015. Over the years of his incarceration, he learned many valuable lessons which he shares in this work.
