GOS Ekhaguere was born in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. As a mathematician and mathematical physicist, he served on the editorial boards of several international academic journals and won many highly competitive and prestigious scholarships, sponsorships and appointments from diverse academic foundations and institutions. He was a Fellow of the globally renowned Alexander von Humboldt-Stiftung. He is the founder and pioneer President of the International Centre for Mathematical & Computer Sciences. He has held multiple academic and administrative positions nationally and internationally.
