Promises Kept: Overcoming Challenges Through A Spiritual Journey (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798256103866)

They say experiences shape the very essence of who we are as individuals and that the stories we create are based on our perceptions of half-truths but as a child these "truths", may carry a different interpretation. For others, life is about the constant struggle, without any refuge in sight.

In Promises Kept, the pages speak to anyone who has experience hardship, homelessness, immigration, childhood trauma, or the challenge of finding their voice in a new language. Despite these dark experiences, there was grace, an awakened presence of hope, and faith. At the core of this book is where we find his promise to the gentlest soul, he's ever encountered, his mother.

Mothers are special, they carry the weight of the world. Sometimes, if you are blessed enough, and focus, you will experience this sacred love. It was this love that lifted, nurtured, and shielded him from the world. This is the place where he witnesses the presence of hope and the bridge of who he would become. This was also the place where he heard God's whispers.

The lines in this book have traveled over four decades and fulfill the promise he made to her. They also represent a testimony to God's divine presence in his life, how he was carried, protected, guided who he is today, and every step of his journey.
