Prostitution Divine (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9780916201708)

Short stories, movie script and essay

She saves men who don't deserve saving, redeems what no one wants redeemed,

and gets called everything except what she actually is: necessary.

Prostitution Divine gathers twelve short stories, a movie script, and one

unapologetic essay into a single, unblinking case for the world's most condemned

profession. Armalinsky's women are not victims waiting to be pitied - they are

often the last honest people left in rooms full of liars, doing the one job everyone

needs and almost no one will admit to needing.

This is fiction that reads like confession, and an essay that reads like an

indictment.

Mikhail Armalinsky is a Russian-American writer who has spent decades writing about sex

with a candor few others attempt. He became internationally known for publishing

Pushkin's Secret Journal 1836-1837, a purported erotic diary attributed to Russia's most

revered poet. He lives in Minneapolis, where he continues to write what polite literature

prefers to leave unwritten.
