Ptsd: Frozen in Time: Adventures in Releasing Buried Energy, Volume 2 (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781795619332)

When I published my first volume of PTSD essays, I was optimistic about the future. Some of my symptoms had disappeared and others had decreased in intensity or frequency. My husband's cardiac surgery appeared to have been a success and I looked forward to continued happiness living with the love of my life. But my focus on finding new ways to heal my PTSD temporarily takes a backseat to dealing with Jack's increasingly precarious health. All I'd learned about soothing my activated sympathetic nervous system and staying balanced was repeatedly put to the test as I found myself catapulted from the cocoon of safety Jack provided after my burnout to a chaotic, unpredictable world where his life sometimes hung in the balance. These fifty-two essays detail my continued efforts to release trauma energy, including a hypnotic regression seminar with Dr. Brian Weiss, long distance energy healings with Diane Goldner, Jack's unexpected spiritual experience, plants and birds who helped me, the solution for my stomach pain, and much more.
