BlackLife is the pseudo name for Nolan J. Turner. BlackLife is a native of Detroit, Michigan. He is also a proud product of the Detroit Public School System - Martin Luther King Jr. High School (Crusaders). He developed his love for writing in the late nineties beginning with writing music that later evolved into a love for poetry. His first book, Blackbook, was published in 2008. Pure Love is his second published book. BlackLife's goal with his poetry is to ensure there is a mixture of poems for everyone.
