Quantum Computing Is Stalling: A Way Forward- The Hidden Physics Behind the Measurement Bottleneck (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9789811786037)

Quantum computing is stalling.

Not because the engineering has failed -
but because the physics may have been misread from the beginning.

For decades, the field has operated on a single assumption:

Keep quantum systems isolated.
Delay measurement.
Treat collapse as failure.

Build faster. Build colder. Correct more errors.

But what if collapse is not the enemy of computation -
but its mechanism?

This book introduces a fundamental reframing built on the Total Wave Modified Schrödinger Equation (TWMSE) - a deterministic framework in which quantum collapse is not a random terminal event, but a structured physical process shaped by accumulated wave interactions.

Under this view, what the standard model calls noise, error, and decoherence may not be obstacles to computation...
but carriers of information that current architectures are designed to discard.

The implications are architectural - not incremental.

If collapse can be guided rather than suppressed, the entire logic of coherence preservation - surface codes, lattice surgery, and massive qubit overhead - may be solving the wrong problem.

Grounded in a century of foundational experiments - from Tonomura's single-electron interference to Haroche's cavity QED - this book connects established physics to a new, testable framework.

It proposes three experimental signatures that distinguish TWMSE from standard quantum mechanics:

- A history-dependent collapse bias observable on current qubit hardware
- A second-harmonic interference signal in cold-atom systems
- A nonzero Sorkin parameter in three-slit photon experiments

This is not philosophy.

It is a falsifiable claim about how quantum systems resolve.

Quantum Computing Is Stalling: A Way Forward is written for physicists, engineers, and technically curious readers who have watched the quantum horizon keep moving - and want to understand why.

No equations are required in the main text.
The full mathematical framework is provided in Appendix D.

The remaining step is experimental.
