When he is finally released from confinement, David travels to Oxford, Bournemouth, England, Lisbon, Portugal and wanders the streets of Manhattan. Unfortunately, he is forced to feel the fear of the dreaded virus that follows him everywhere he goes, not knowing who the reaper will take next. Over the course of his travels, David spends time reflecting upon a life-past, present, and future-seen through his aging eyes. Humor, remorse, and both emotional and rational moments are mixed with the constant realization that David's body is giving out. He might not be the specimen he once was and yet, his adventurous life is far from over.
