Quinquennium: A Collection of Poems by George Horsman (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781787193239)

In his new collection, widely-published and award-winning poet George Horsman draws on a broad range of his own and other people's experiences in a variety of dramatic, reflective and humorous poems set both in his native Cheshire and in many other parts of the world. The mood ranges from joyful to sad and from ironic to amatory as we read of events and emotions both everyday and extraordinary, cerebral and moving, but always seen in a characteristically thought-provoking light.
