Ralegh's Web is an adventure set in North Carolina during the French and Indian War. A dispatch rider named Duncan Macpeters discovers the wagons of a supply convoy attacked by mysterious men who are neither French nor Indian, but are organized and disciplined soldiers. The raiders have taken their friend hostage. A handful of determined men follow the attackers deep into the mountains. There they find a secret colony of Europeans with a history older than Jamestown. Known as the Conglische, the colonists have become legends in the forest, feared for their ruthless killings.
