God Vishnu was born as a human being called Rama. With the help of monkeys and bears Rama killed invincible Ravana and established peace on earth. Rama ruled as an ideal king and his kingdom was known as an ideal kingdom (Rama Rajya). Valmiki has proclaimed many benefits for reading this great epic. The author hopes reading this simplified and abridged version of Ramayana will bring same benefits as reading the original.
