Rampant Damsels (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781453861646)

Welcome to the Rampant Damsel Tavern...

The walls are spotless.

The curtains are freshly washed.

The flowers are beautifully arranged.

The beer is excellent.

The clientele are heavily armed.

When travelling gnome and lingerie merchant Freegle Macsnooks arrives in the notorious city of Lurke looking for a warm bed and an easy night's trade, he stumbles into the only respectable tavern in town. At least, it looks respectable.

Behind its immaculate pink walls lurk seductive barmaids, eccentric landladies, drunken philosophers, incompetent wizards, overconfident adventurers, improbable monsters and enough mayhem to keep an insurance company in permanent bankruptcy.

As impossible quests collide with outrageous misunderstandings, Freegle finds himself swept into an escalating series of disasters where survival depends upon equal measures of courage, luck... and knowing when to duck.

Originally published in 2009, Rampant Damsels is a riotous fantasy comedy overflowing with outrageous characters, sparkling dialogue, innuendo, absurd situations and affectionate satire of classic sword-and-sorcery adventures and tabletop roleplaying games.

Please note: this novel contains frequent bawdy humour, sexual innuendo, strong comic language and adult comedy throughout. While the content is humorous rather than explicit, it is intended for mature readers who enjoy irreverent fantasy in the tradition of classic British comic farce.

Pull up a chair. Order an ale. Try not to start a bar fight.
