Susan Wingate is a novelist, poet, memoirist, playwright and screenwriter. She has penned five novels. Her fourth and latest story written under the pseudonym Myah Lin received a finalist award in the 2009 Textnovel Writing Contest. Her 2nd novel, "Bobby's Diner" also received two finalist awards in two separate book competitions the 2009 National Best Books Award (USA Book News) and the 2009 Next Generation Indie Book Awards. Wingate's writing can be found in many magazines, journals and reviews. Locally, Wingate works in cooperation with San Juan Island Library bringing visiting writers, publishers and agents who offer workshops to the small island community. Wingate is also a co-founder of the vibrant San Juan Island Creative Women's Group. For hobbies, Wingate reads, travels, gardens, dances with her husband, Bob, and she loves to paint.
