Reading With Ease: An Alternative Method is a unique learning to read strategy that is based on decades of literacy research supporting the use of direct one-to-one reading instruction as the key to stimulating the development and improvement of reading skills. Coalescing decades of literacy research such as pre-teaching vocabulary Dolch and Fry sight words combined with the processes of teaching systematic phonetics with the use of word symbol images, the Author, Elaine Peters, created a learning strategy that helps beginner readers improve their reading f luency skills. Learning to read often develops a desire to continue a lifelong learning journey into the wonders of written language. Reading with Ease: An Alternative Method provides a learning strategy that helps open the door to the discovery of written language for unique learners.
