Reap Act I: Death Observed (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798234127372)

"Seeing dead people" is bad, but stunt pilot Personica-La Emerald has it worse. She can see the reapers themselves. She doesn't know this, of course, until she witnesses a reaper, Lolly Valkyjur, in the midst of reaping. This is problematic, as, on top of mortals not normally being able to see reapers, it makes Lolly look like a crazed gunman.

This potentially universe altering anomaly is just the cherry on the icing of Lolly's cake of problems, mainly including the stubbornness that one of her recent assignments, Baron Boyd, against being reaped.

How come won't Boyd die? How can Emerald see Lolly? How can you feel a need niche sense of superiority to your friends? Only way to know is to start reading Reap.

Adapted to from the webcomic of the same name, Reap offers a unique, albeit morbid, story. Set in the small archipelago nation in the Labrador Sea of Kwailalilii, follow the ... friendship(?) of Emerald and Lolly.

As the first (proper) book in the series, Death Observed is meant to establish the world and draw you in for more with its wit, dry sense of humor, peculiar art style, and overall ominous vibe. So what are you waiting for? Flip this book back over to the front and get to reading!
