Reckoning with Trust: book two, following "Phoenix" (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781481809429)

Tapori, the curious young boy who grew up on a trash heap beside a railway station in India, is eagerly awaiting receipt of the promised reward money that he earned helping solve the Phoenix scandal (book one in this series). Suddenly his life takes a series of unexpected turns. He is given a new name, Tanish A. Puri, and faces a whole new set of adventures. Join Tanish as he experiences life in a Christian orphanage, a thriving modern city, a juvenile prison, and even a granite quarry before returning home to love and family. See how Tanish, who has out grown his imaginary animal friends, interacts and learns from the adult role models of his new life. Among the many new characters are Father Philip, representing kindness; Nilesh, representing selfishness; and V. representing temptation. In "Phoenix" Tapori learned to shed limitations and take the concept of optimism to new heights. In "Reckoning with Trust", he will need all that optimism to survive his trial-and-error experimentation learning to refine the limits of trust. Tanish discovers the rewards of the materialistic world, exemplified by the new-found wealth in Bangalore and the extravagance of the typical Indian marriage ceremony, cannot compare with the value of true love, trust and friendship.
