Remembrance is a golden sanctuary of a most beautiful love. Jacqueline DeParis sacrificed her "true self" to please her wealthy, dominant mother, and married Humphrey Livingston, solely for wealth and social status. Shaun O'Neill, a young, architectural student, was hired as a gardener. He fell in love with Jacqueline at first sight, but kept from revealing it, at first. He felt compassion for Jacqueline in her unhappy marriage and encouraged her to regain full self-esteem: "to thine own self be true." Jacqueline had an unfulfilled longing: to dance like "Astaire and Rogers." Shaun and Jacqueline took instructions and entered a local, charity ball competition. The instructor cautioned: Astaire and Rogers dances were only limited to the pursuit of love. To win, Shaun and Jacqueline must experience love in their dance. Remembrance, "the love story" of love stories, has a kindness and wisdom seldom seen, for a "gentle heart" to treasure, never to be forgotten.
