Ali H. Al-Hoorie is an Assistant Professor at the English Language Institute, Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. He holds an MA in Social Science Data Analysis from the University of Essex, and a PhD in Applied Linguistics supervised by Professors Zolt疣 Dnyei and Norbert Schmitt at the University of Nottingham. He is also the co-editor (with Peter D. MacIntyre) of Contemporary Language Motivation Theory (Multilingual Matters, 2020).
