In blogger Christine Vogelsang's final book in her Restoring the Joy: Leaving My Guilt at the Cross series, she pours her life experiences into essays focusing on how God draws people to him as he helps them live out their own stories every day.
Vogelsang's lifelong conversation with God has been her comforting constant, and the fifty stories in this collection present the life-giving message of Jesus in a way that will help you discover how fervently God seeks after you too. In "Skyping with God," Vogelsang asserts that multitasking isn't all it's cracked up to be-especially when going deeper in your relationship with God. "Turning to Hope" prompts you never to turn your back on those with problems; after all, God won't turn his back on you And the uplifting "Going Viral (A Pentecost Conversation)" is a call to action for all believers to repeat the old, old story to a new generation.
Vogelsang wants you to know that you matter. Your Creator loved you before you were born and desires daily communion with you. As you turn each page in the conclusion of Vogelsang's series, you'll be delighted to discover that the conversation with God never ends.
Christine Vogelsang is newly retired and living in Southern California. She's now an internationally renowned blogger who promotes "joy without guilt," but she spent years in many other fulfilling roles: teacher, musician, pastor's wife, and mother. Vogelsang has a master's in education and taught every age group, and she was the music director for more than two decades at her last church. She has also authored and produced three plays designed to bring to life the wonders of the Gospel stories.
Vogelsang's blog (www.restoringthejoy.net) inspired her to publish longer works, and The Conversation Never Ends is the final book in her Restoring the Joy: Leaving My Guilt at the Cross series.
Vogelsang knows her work isn't finished. She's a regular blog contributor to Lead like Jesus, a global leadership development organization, and she is planning to write more books that will tell the world about God's love and grace.
