She began teaching in High School, and ended her teaching career as a fifth grade teacher. She has one daughter, Neva Joy Sudderth, living in Lake Dallas, Texas. She married Bob Hash in 1991 and after retirement they moved to East Texas. Jerrisue enjoys traveling, and now with all the information she has gathered on her birth family she is looking forward to genealogy trips with her husband Bob and her daughter Neva.
