Revising the Pact (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781453762264)

As far as Preston Wright is concerned, this has been the worst day of his life. He just lost his job, his marriage is failing, his son has been diagnosed with a terminal illness and - to make matters worse - he just drowned in the Chattooga River. As he sits, holding vigil over his own body, his childhood best friend, Kevin Plummer, is there to comfort him. This is quite difficult for Preston to grasp, given that Kevin has been dead for seven years. As teenagers, the two young men made a pact: should one of them die, he would return from the afterlife and contact the one left behind. Now that Preston has crossed the threshold between life and what lies beyond, they can truly see each other face-to-face again. Kevin has a message to deliver. He desperately hopes Preston can accept it before time runs out. Revising the Pact is a surprising rollercoaster of emotion, filled with laughter on one page and tears the next. It's a novel for anyone that has ever lost a friend, loved a spouse or treasured a child. It's a journey you will not regret.
