Charles E. Rice is Professor Emeritus at Notre Dame Law School. A graduate of the College of the Holy Cross (A.B., 1953), Boston College Law School (J.D., 1956) and New York University School of Law (Ll.M., 1959, J.S.D., 1962), he practiced law in New York and taught at New York University School of Law and Fordham Law School before joining the Notre Dame Law School faculty in 1969.
