Emmanuel Nyame is a social entrepreneur and advocate with over a decade-long professional experience in private sector development, business development, access to financial and equity investment, economic and development issues, for diverse categories of micro, small and medium scale enterprises, non-governmental organisations, venture capitalists, governments, among a range of entrepreneurship development organisations. His involvement with US Department of States' StartUp Cup, an accelerator program for startups, which he passionately launched while studying Economics and Mathematics at the university, brought renewed hope to young entrepreneurs in Ghana, Africa and propelled him to unimaginable heights among the startup ecosystem. He is currently involved with Educational Communities Worldwide, a non-profit on a mission to bridge the skills gaps among students - a bold step towards addressing unemployment in his country. He also Co-founded SocialGood Ghana, as a member of United Nations Foundation's +SocialGood Connectors and Advisors community. He is constantly involved in activities geared towards helping achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. He is on SXSW's advisory team for the annual accelerator program. He also serves as a First Democracy VC Partner of Indiegogo and MicroVenture's new equity crowdfunding platform.
