I was born on the Road, and have lived on it most of my life, except for a few decades in a city, when earning the means to free me for permanent travel. Now, the Road is a mansion, with many, many rooms, of vastly varying variety. Some are hot and dry, some are cold and wet, others are everything in between. And just as fine and fascinating as the rooms are the hallways and passages between, some long, some short, and all with windows on an infinite set of worlds. There are definitions of the major kinds of roads, and discussions of what they can be like, and by far the most important, descriptions, histories, details of some of the most outstanding roads. This book is shallow, only an introduction to the Road. Almost everything has been left out, because everything would fill an encyclopedia. A large one. You really need to get out here and see for yourself. I am only showing you the way. The way to Freedom.
