The author is a retired police officer with a background in SWAT as a sniper and hostage negotiator, as well as extensive work with child abuse, homicide, sexual assault, and general investigations. She is a former police fitness trainer and worked for many years as a probation officer over felony offenders. She currently works as an Assistant Director for a non profit agency that supervises Felony Operating While Intoxicated offenders in a multifaceted setting. The author has extensive training and education in behavioral science, crisis intervention, and addiction treatment and monitoring. Her first love is writing books of divine spirit and she has written two previous books, The Song of the Soul Keeping the Sacred Fire, and The Song of the Soul Passages of Hope, both with Amazon.
