A pair of tourists lingered over their cappuccinos, marveling at the views of the harbor through the windows.

It hadn't always been like this. When Rosie had first inherited the café, she had been overwhelmed by the sheer amount of work it needed-dusty floors, peeling paint, and an air of abandonment that seemed impossible to shake. There had been moments of doubt, moments when she wondered if she was truly capable of bringing the space back to life.

But slowly, with the help of her daughter Emily, her gruff but kind neighbor Owen, and the people of St. Ives, the café had transformed into something extraordinary.
