And then there are Darnall's Rules.Darnall's Rules started when I was on staff at Scout camp and developed over time. The most useful was Rule #1 - All the horse's rears are not on horses. This proved to be very useful. For example, the conversation might go like this. "What's all the commotion about?" "It's a Rule #1 situation." "Oh!" No further explanation was necessary. You can see how useful that would be. Then there is: Rule #3 - Wives and mothers do not think farts are funny. You can see how useful that could be. From that start the list of rules grew; some from real life situations; some from humor; and some from the wisdom of my long life. (I was born early in the last century.)
