This safety evaluation report (SER) documents the technical review of the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station, Units 1, 2, and 3 (PVNGS), license renewal application (LRA) by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff (the staff). APS requests renewal of the PVNGS operating licenses (facility operating license numbers NPF-41, NPF-51, and NPF-74) for a period of 20 years beyond the current expiration dates of midnight on June 1, 2025, for Unit 1; April 24, 2026, for Unit 2; and November 25, 2027, for Unit 3.
