The ancestors of the author of part II Pirzada Ghulam Rasul Shaiva belonged to Zunimar Srinagar later migrated to Bandipora Kashmir. He was father of famous historian Hasan Khoihami who wrote History of Kashmir in four volumes. The ancestors of the translator Sayid Ashraf Shah also hailed from Zunimar. The later retired as Chief Engineer from J&K PWD. He is Consultant, Chartered Engineer, Fellow Institution of Engineers India, Member Indian Road Congress, Member American Society of Civil Engineers, author of dozens of books, presented over 60 papers in seminars, columnist, travelled in India and abroad.
