A fight of which according to her doctor would ultimately claim her life except God intervene miraculously as Chemotherapy and Radiation treatments can only delay death even if the treatments are successful. After serving God for many years even to the present hour of the writing of this book Naturally the news of the diagnosis immediately opened a doorway for the spirit of fear which has torment to attempt to enter into the spirit of her mind My mother shut that doorway by standing and facing the issue at hand in faith that God is able to sustain her life even with the diagnosis if it be God's will and if God in the process of this fight does not continue to sustain her life it is not because God was not able to do so it would be God's will not to do so My mother knows that we as Christians are instructed of God to walk by faith and not by sight as those things which are seen are temporal while those things which are unseen are eternal. How is it possible for one to walk by faith while simultaneously face the reality of medical diagnosis of Stage IV Lung Cancer? My mother knows that she can do all things through Christ which strengthens her. My mother in a sense have entered into a "strange land" on her journey in life, a land wherein most who enters do not exit alive Nevertheless, my mother stands as bold as a lion in the face of this deadly disease and boldly confesses that whether she lives or whether she dies she belongs to the Lord If in the process of this fight God's will is to remove her from this life I sincerely believe that my mother is "ready to be offered " I believe her faith is steadfast trusting in the will of God for her life. I believe that she has been sealed by the Spirit of Almighty God and that the hope she possesses transcends this life and will be manifest in the next at the sounding of the seventh trump of God whether dead or alive. I believe our faith will prove to be more real than our realities in the process of time. This book is inspired by Almighty God in honor of my mother while she is yet alive and will serve as a memorial after her demise. It is to encourage those who are fighting cancer in any of its forms to not lose faith in the midst of the fight but to be strong in faith giving glory to God.
