The inspiration for some of the stories and poems has, in some instances, come from the writer's own family history while some are true flights of fantasy. The Creative Writing group at Pegswood Hub was set up four years ago and has very diverse range of members. Some have a degree of experience of writing stories, while others haven't written anything since their schooldays. Either way, each member has produced a wide and interesting range of work which they are proud to showcase in this book. All profits from the sale of the book will go to the Pegswood Hub, a community centre run mainly by volunteers in the village of Pegswood, Northumberland.
